Role Summary

As a Dealer Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by:

  • Building strong, strategic relationships with vehicle dealerships.
  • Driving sales for Flexi Drive and Flexi Capital.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer & Partner Relations

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with dealerships, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits, check-ins, and performance reviews to maximize engagement and lead generation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on how dealers can optimize their sales using Flexi Mobility’s offerings.
  • Monitor dealer performance and provide strategic recommendations to increase financing adoption.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new dealership partners to expand market penetration.
  • Present and promote Flexi Drive (vehicle subscription) and Flexi Capital (floorplan finance) solutions.
  • Close high-value deals and ensure dealers are actively utilizing our services.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging dealership needs.

Lead Management & Conversion Optimization

  • Qualify and manage inbound and outbound dealer and customer leads.
  • Track, update, and manage lead data through the Lindom system.
  • Follow up on hot leads with urgency and ensure quick conversion.
  • Provide input on automated sales communications, scripts, and engagement strategies.

Strategic Sales Growth

  • Set and achieve aggressive sales targets for dealership partnerships.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to improve lead generation campaigns.
  • Continuously refine the sales pitch and value proposition for dealers.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5+ years experience in sales, automotive finance, or dealership relationship management or experience in validations, credit assessment, contracts and payout “hubs”
Strong B2B sales experience with a focus on dealer partnerships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage a large portfolio of dealer accounts and leads.
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Pipedrive) and digital sales strategies.
A strategic mindset with a drive to exceed targets.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

Existing relationships with dealerships.
Experience in floorplan finance, vehicle leasing, or automotive subscription models.

Location: Pretoria North - Montana 

Reporting To: Depot Manager

Job Purpose:

The Depot Assistant will support the Depot Manager in managing the inspection, repair, and administrative processes for vehicles returned due to repossession or contract cancellations. The role requires a mechanically skilled individual who can assess vehicle damages, coordinate repairs, and ensure high-quality standards, while also handling administrative duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical & Vehicle Inspection Duties:

  • Conduct thorough mechanical and panel damage inspections on returned vehicles.
  • Identify required repairs and allocate vehicles to the appropriate repairers (mechanical & panel beaters).
  • Assess repair quotations to ensure fair pricing and cost-effectiveness.
  • Verify that repairs meet quality standards before returning the vehicle to service.

Administrative & Process Management:

  • Track vehicle movements from depot to repairers and update the system accordingly.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to process claims for damaged vehicles.
  • Handle license and registration renewals for vehicles as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle conditions, repairs, and financial transactions.
  • Support the depot manager with other operational and administrative tasks as needed.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Mechanical qualification or hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Experience in vehicle logistics, fleet management, or workshop coordination is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in stock or asset management systems.
  • Prior experience in automotive, leasing, or rental businesses preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to assess vehicle damages.
  • High work ethic – must be self-motivated, proactive, and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve without constant supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure correct pricing and repair standards.
  • Energetic go-getter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and admin software (Excel, fleet management systems).

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Hands-on role, working in both the depot and repair facilities.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times.
  • Expected to be highly accountable and take ownership of tasks.
  • Some travel between repair shops and depots may be required.
